I'm 31 and finally learned how to paint a beautiful landscape picture. I also learned how to set up a diorama. I'm in awe.

For years, I've been amazed at what the children I teach create. I'm even more proud of them now because, I'm an adult and it took me countless attempts to figure out how to do things like this. I thought I was just a complete failure, which is why I am amazed at the accomplishments of my students.

I documented the process to share with them. I took pictures at each attempt so I could show them what I learned. I also wanted to show them that failing repeatedly is normal and okay, and that's how I accomplished these new skills. But, for now, I will keep it to myself because it's mine.

I just wanted to share my joy and amazement that I can do something so many people take for granted. I am grateful for the children who are my motivators.

Edit: this post was supposed to go on r/prolifechat, but I'm glad I put it here. There are so many positive replies here.
