People who are calling me a Karen for wearing a mask

are literally so fucking stupid. I have a rare neurological disorder that makes makes me extremely prone to respiratory illnesses like pneumonia, and has left me with breathing problems and chronic pain in my chest for life. I have been wearing a mask since March 2020, and will continue to wear one indefinitely. I don't care if you think that it doesn't do anything for you, or that you believe you are so special and omnipotent that catching covid would never happen to you because you are a *magical being of light*. I don't care if you think it's my fault for being sick and having poor health (you sound like an astroturfing Christian or something icky). I am going to continue to do what I have to do to feel safe and protected, and if that makes me a Karen to you, then so be it. It's better to be safe than sorry. I'm going to be *very* intentional with the energy I allow into my life now. It's time to weed out the assholes. Sending love and hugs to everyone who is doing their part to keep others safe. <3
