My friend's sisters boyfriend's wife just left him.

So, i've been getting some weird stories recently from this one guy, and I don't doubt the authenticity of his stories. He's told me his cat can speak English, the walls talk to him, and now this. His friend's sisters boyfriend's wife left him. But the twist is, his friend's sister ISN'T with him. She's single, and has never been in a relationship. But, his wife left HIM, and not the sisters? The guy my friend is talking about, is single and has no girlfriend or wife. There's no way he could be married, especially with the sister as his girlfriend. I don't know what's going on here, it makes no sense.
