I was a catgirl simp

I've been seeing a lot of posts about how catgirls are a thing of the past and not as loved by simps anymore, and I just have to say: I'm proud to say I was a part of that epoch. I remember when being a proud catgirl simp was a mark of shame, and that shame was also a part of my pride. I was a proud member of the og /c/CatgirlHate community back in the day, and the community I was a part of is what got me through the lowest of points in my life. Even though I stopped being a catgirl simp, and I stopped liking anime altogether, being an outcast with other outcasts is something that I'll always be grateful for. So I just wanted to share this thread because, even though I can be a bit of an outcast in real life, I've always felt like I had a place to call home. This community (or whatever the hell it was back in the day) was my home for the longest time. I've always felt like I had a label to call my own, and I was cheered on by my fellow travelers.

I miss being a catgirl simp, but I'm proud of how far I've come since then, no matter how far I've strayed from the beautiful catgirl simp I used to be.
