My sister used to actually sit at the stove and eat noodles straight out of the pot because she was so hungry!

She had 3 kids and her husband was a junkie and spent all his money so nearly a week at a time while the rent was overdue, the kids were hungry and she just didn't know what to do.<br><br>He ended up in jail and they had nothing so I ended up taking them in and while she had nothing, I had more than I knew what to do with. <br><br><br>If I didn't have any help, I had 2 jobs and I was a hard worker, but I don't know how she did it. <br><br>Anyway....I saw her in the kitchen with a fork. She was eating noodles straight out of the pot. <br><br>She was so embarrassed but I asked what she was doing and she said she was just soooo hungry. I'm like "grab a plate! We can afford that!!" and she laughed and she just was so grateful. <br><br>The kids were thin but otherwise ok, and my SIL is now a nurse. She went to school and studeied, and she never forgets her past and is the most generous, kind hearted person, and I just love her.<br><br>It pays to never give up!<br><br>Edit to add: Thank you for the rewards.
