Has anyone here ever used a fan?

Cause if you had you'd know that the hot air is right next to the fan. The hot air always blows outward from the fan, and by the time the air has traveled a couple of feet it's cooled.

If you have never used a fan then you wouldn't know that the hot air, caused by the fan running, blows outward. So if you take the temp of the hot air as it blows outward from the fan you'll think the fan is running hot. But if you take the temperature of the air a couple of feet away you'll find it's cooler than it was before you turned the fan on.

So unless you think the temp sensors are right next to the fan, which would make sense if you're a layman who doesn't understand that fans create hot air at the fan itself, but still blow cooler air outward.
