Tourist for a day in my own city

Today I visited a local attraction and felt happy that I didn’t have to pack my whole life in a backpack, spend thousands of dollars on an airplane ticket, or wait for hours at airport security.<br><br>Appreciate the beauty in your local surroundings and local history. Explore your own city. I’m sure you’ll be surprised at what you will learn and what you will discover if you take a day to explore what is right in front of you.<br><br>The local history museum was packed with families. I believe in tourism, although it can be a bit burdensome with pollution and crowds. <br><br>Most of the time I read about places on Wikipedia of course to get a basic understanding of the place, but I think a great alternative is to explore local history museums!
