How do I "make a sexual assult complaint"

Ditzy question I know but I've been in therapy for two years now and I feel like I need closure from the assault/rape/abuse. I reported it to the police on the night it happened. The police officer who dealt with me was very matter of fact and cold and didn't offer any support services. I also wasn't in the right mental state to care about those services at the time either. But now i think I need a bit of closure. Like I know the person who assaulted me and I reported it but I don't think that's enough. I've been trying to find some sort of system to make a complaint but can't find any resources for that. I'm in Scotland. SAilinh<br>TIA
