VAST majority of my sales are from Reddit. For those of you who tell me to "go to ArmsList or SAA or whatever", you're literally making 0 sense

I sell here. And I sell on 7 other platforms, because I'm a very active partial seller. I probably have 20 or so sales every month. And 17-20 of them will be from this sub. The only other platforms that generally give me 1 or 2 sales a month are SAA/FO. Every so often I'll get a sale or two from ArmsList, but to be honest, it's more of a pain in the ass to interact with people on ArmsList because I have to give out my phone number. <br><br>Also, 2/3 of my sales here are from crossposts! The most common crosspost interaction is that someone will find my post, and they already know about it cuz they saw it on another sub. But if they hadn't seen my post here, they wouldn't have seen it. The interaction is very symbiotic. A lot of you who don't like crossposts are generally just wrong. But oh well, not my problem. If you don't like crossposts, then stop interacting with them.<br><br>I'm not the only seller to have this happen. ebpowers92 told me something similar recently. If you tell me to post on SAA/FO/AL, and I'm already posting on SAA/FO/AL, then what? I'm supposed to post it 1000 times on those platforms? Why? Or should I just stick to Chambers? And if so, why? Because 85% of my sales are from this platform! It's literally the best way to sell firearms. If you think otherwise, then you're wrong.<br><br>Also, let it be known that I generally don't sell things that go for under $1000. If 100% of my sales were $200-300 guns, I'd be much more inclined to sell them in my LGS, because 8.75% commission is nearly irrelevant if you're selling something for $250. Ok well maybe 10% commission is a lot at that point. Yeah it definitely is. But for a $2200 gun, that's $193 commission. $193 is not irrelevant but it's not as big of a difference to me as 10% commission is on a $250 gun.<br><br>Anyway, I thought I'd share some data. I'll make a few more posts with some stats I've compiled.
