Hola! My first post, and this is an absolutely true story that happened in 1998, when I was 6 years old.

My family went on a holiday to the coast, we drove up to the house I was going to tell this story about, and parked the car right outside it. My parents stepped out and went to knock on the front door, but it was wide open.

There was a man inside, "watching" the house for my uncle and his family, who were the owners. We (my brother and I, aged 4 and 6) entered through the front door, as my parents told us to, and right behind us was the owner of the key from the neighbours.

I don't know how it happened (to this day), but we managed to "bypass" the man inside and get to the upper floor, where all the bedrooms were located. We started shouting at the top of our lungs, "Where is he?!!" at the same time as the man from downstairs started shouting "What the hell is going on here?!?!"

My parents and the key guy came running up too, and that's when they realised that the "watcher" had been sleeping in my cousin's room. The window had been forced open, there were scratches on the floor, curtains were half torn out...and he had been sleeping there for a minimum of two months.

We moved the suitcases to the car, called the police, called my uncle and...drove to a nearby town to stay for a month with some family friends. We never went back to that house.
