How do you make people understand how harmful AI is?

I keep trying to explain to people how AI is killing creative industries, but they don’t care. They just think AI is useful and they don’t want to give it up. I’ve explained the risks of AI and how future AI systems will be more autonomous and powerful, but people are detached and only think about the present. It’s like they don’t care about the future.
