Aeroplan pushed 2M Marriott points into my account. I don't have a Marriott credit card. How do I link my Marriott account?

So, the 2M Marriott points are now in my account. I do not have a Marriott credit card, and I have been on the phone to Marriott for an hour now, and they are telling me that they cannot directly link my Marriott account to the Marriott account associated with my Aeroplan account. I have never stayed at a Marriott before, and my Marriott account is not connected to my Aeroplan account. Is there a way to link them? I am losing so much time with this.
