Why is it that when we discuss raising taxes, we only hear how it will affect the wealthy, and never how it will help the poor, the environment, and public services?

I'm frustrated by the fact that the discussion never seems to go into the idea of paying back the US government because it is what is best for everyone. <br><br>When it comes to tax reform, there are billions of dollars that could be collected from people that are wealthy, that would not even notice that they were paying it. <br><br>Why do billionaires need tax breaks? Why do they need to be able to keep their money offshore?
