I just want to talk about the cost of cheese

I'm currently trying to lose weight, so I've been cooking a lot of healthy meals. I've been trying to follow some recipes for low calorie health meals, and I just want to say that cheese is a scam for diet people. I've been itching for some aternatives to cheese, but that's a story for another time.

Anyway, I just want to talk about cheese prices. Right now, I'm just using a simple Kraft Shredded Cheese. It's about $3.50 for 12 ounces. I'm not sure how long it'll last, but I used about a cup of it a day for 4 days so about 1 cup a day. It's fine for now, but I don't want to sork a job just to afford cheese.

I've seen a lot of other shredded cheese be $15 for 12 ounces. I've also seen cheese that is more expensive, but it's a lot more ounces.

I just want to know how much cheese you all use in a day. I feel like that's a lot of cheese for one person to eat everyday. I'm probably going to a store brand or something to save more money.

Note: I can only go to Walmart because there isn't a Trader Joes,Grocery Store, or anything but Walmart.
