The first thing I do in every new city is visit its topless bar

This may sound a little weird but hear me out. All my life I’ve been fascinated by urban geography and the way cities are structured. I make good livings as an urban planner and anytime I visit a new place I love comparing their approach to ours. <br><br>The first thing I do in any city is visit a topless bar or gentleman’s club or whatever you like to call it. <br><br>Why? Well there’s usually one in every city, they’re easy to find and often in the very heart of a city. <br><br>I go in order some a couple beers and usually some food, strike up a conversation with someone, “How long have you lived here?” “How long have you worked here?” <br><br>“what do you like about the city?” “what do you dislike about the city?” <br><br>I ask for recommendations on things to do and see. The first thing I do in every new city I visit is go to a topless bar and talk to the people in there.
