First they fire you and then they will offer to keep you in a remote job but they they will put you on contract

I got fired on Monday and then they asked me if I was interested on a contract. I have been for 11 years with this company<br><br>I am right now in a job search for a IT position. I am getting offers but the companies are making me do a lot of paperwork before they say anything about the offer. The offer they give me is what they will offer me they said. They will offer me an offer and then we will discuss it but then they will come say that what they offered was what they are willing to give me and the benefit are not what I was expecting<br><br>So I have been looking for a job for 2 months right now and I got a job offer for IT and I asked questions right away for the benefit and then right away they said we can’t do benefit because it will be a contract position. <br><br>So right now I am stuck on looking for a job and companies won’t let me do it the way I want to do it and they will keep me waiting for longer and longer<br><br>The pay is good for right now and this is why I am still doing this job but I am really looking to get out of a contract job<br><br>Any advice on this ???
