I know it's not the norm for this place, but I'm gonna stop taking medicine for ADHD

I spent the last 10 years studying for a career I don't want, and I'm now free to pursue things I'm actually interested in. I started going to therapy and I've been working on creating positive habits, instead of negative ones. I've been learning more about ADHD and about how to cope and manage it properly. I feel like I'm actually doing well instead of just able to cope. My therapist and I agree that I should stop taking my ADHD medicine.

I'm posting this because I feel like it's important to see that there are other ways to cope with ADHD. If you're on medicine, please keep taking it if that's what works for you. But I'm feeling a little better after this.

Edit: If you're considering going off your prescription, please talk to your doctor or a medical professional first.
