The "lack of representation" issue you see in media nowadays is fake.

When you got a movie like Black Panther, The Joker, and Moonlight with almost an all-black cast with an all-black directing and writing staff (including Black Panther) and people still complaining that "black representation in media is terrible" and calling people who don't agree "ignorant" and "privileged", you know that they're not actually asking for more representation, but are angry that the media (in this case movies) don't cater to them and only them.

There are plenty examples of black representation on T.V. as well, SZA and Kendrick are on the top charts, Obama was president for eight years, as an Hispanic man, I see plenty of black people high up in the chain of things.

This is a cultural issue that has been on the rise ever since Twitter got its popularity boost in the mid 2010s and the "woke" movement was popularized as a way to suppress dissenting political opinions and make people who are white virtuesignal.

The biggest complaint from when Black Panther came out was from the "lack of representation of the LGBTQ community" even though there wasn't a single black-gay superhero to begin with, there is no black-gay superheroes to represent them. But they still called it "progressive" (because this is Twitter)

Same thing with Aquaman, "Why isn't there any black Aquaman?" when Aquaman is depicted to be white by default in all comic books, not even that, the original Aquaman creation was inspired by a white man to begin with. But once someone said "Why isn't Aquaman black?" and even though the movie was good, people started calling it racist because they didn't cater to them with a black Aquaman even though Aquaman is white by default.

Aquaman also had mostly white actors but as stated above, the default Aquaman is white, but nobody would ever say "Aquaman has too much white representation" because that's racist as stated by Twitter.

There are a lot more examples, I could go on and on, this would be a several paragraph post. But I'm not going to, point is, there's plenty representation, black people have very high positions in society, you wouldn't think that from all the bitching on Twitter that "oh no, black people are being held back" when they're in positions of power, they're in all sorts of high up positions like video game developers, directors, actors, as stated above, plenty of black people are in the top charts of music. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that "Structural" "Systemic" Racism can't be the cause of the issues black people have if there are black people in positions of power as stated above, in actuality, the cultural issue we have is that virtuesignaling Twitter morons want media to cater only to them, and you can't please everyone.
