How realistic is this career path?

I’d like to go from 25M Army Infantry to 30M FBI agent, with intermediate jobs in the time between. I’m not out of high school yet but I know what I want to do with my life. From what I’ve seen, the Army was the best place to get the best training to prepare for the role I want to be in. I understand that this is a big decision, so I want to hear out anyone with more experience who’s been in the military, the FBI, or a mixture between. From what I’ve seen it’s all very interesting. Army for my training to enter the FBI, and the FBI to work in the world of counter terrorism/counter intelligence. Would I be best off getting a degree and working in a state/local role before moving on to the FBI, or should I stick with what I can learn from my time in the military? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
