Country's reaction to Karbauskis' arrest

It's been 2 months since Karbauskis was arrested. These 2 months I've been hearing a wide variety of opinions about this arrest and in my opinion most of them were absolutely fucking stupid. So I will share my experience.<br><br>As we all know Karbauskis is a shitbag. These last few days the news are filled with information about his family financing terrorism in Syria, but that's not the main point. The main point is this - he was arrested! Almost every lithuanian was absolutely fucking hyped about this. Almost nobody had any doubts that he'll be back on bail in 2 months. Now that's 2 months ago and he's still locked up.<br><br>That's what Ragin' Lithuanian (one of the most popular lithuanian streamers) has to say about this:<br><br>"... These cheap ass TikToks where they say that if Karbauskis will be set free without bail every politician will be absolutely fucked, he's blackmailed, he'll even give the keys to the White House for cheap. You're absolutely fucking dumb. He has 3 different arrest warrants. He has 3 different criminal investigations. In this government you can be arrested 3 times and then be set back on the streets. He has 3 different arrest warrants and he's still locked up. That's what they're going to do in the next election. 40% of the people that vote for the greens and farmers won't vote anymore. This government has 3 different arrest warrants for him and he won't be set free. You're fucking dumb because you think that Karbauskis can be set up in 2 months."<br><br>Or this:<br><br>"... These 2 people (Šimašius and Širvinskas) are like in "The Offer" when Al Pacino finds out that there's a rat in his family. These 2 people are absolutely fucking drunk from the government's power and they don't give a fuck about anything. These 2 people absolutely don't give a fuck about Karbauskis. They're laughing at him. These 2 people are absolutely obsessed with the fact that they're drunk from the government's power and they absolutely don't give a fuck about anything. There's no doubt that Karbauskis will be set free. That kind of thing won't happen. The government has 3 different arrest warrants for him and he's still locked up. 40% of the greens and farmers' voters won't be voting for them in the next election. Another 40% were Karbauskis' people. These 2 people absolutely don't give a fuck about anything. They'll absolutely fuck him. He won't be able to reach brigadier's rank. These 2 people absolutely don't give a fuck about anything because they're drunk from government's power and they absolutely don't give a fuck about anything. There's no doubt that Karbauskis will be set free. That kind of thing won't happen."<br><br>There's another thing that makes me laugh. All the "politicians are corrupt" attitude. Most of the people that vote for the greens and farmers know that they're corrupt and they won't vote for them anymore. It's almost like Ragin' Lithuanian said - the same people that say "politicians are corrupt" are the same people that vote for them.<br><br>My personal stance on this is that they just won't let him rot in prison. He'll get some fancy 5 year prison sentence that he'll never finish because he'll be "sick" or something.
