New gun owner has questions

I am a disabled combat veteran who is buying a handgun. I have done a ton of research, but I have a few questions. I have a conceal carry permit. I bought a Beretta Pico for my first gun. I am excited to learn how to use it. I was thinking about maybe buying a 9mm down the road. I am currently in a small apartment so I don’t want to have an overly loud gun. I am also single.
