How can I learn new things if I can't understand them?

I am somebody who finds it difficult to learn new things. I always struggle to understand new concepts or ideas. This troubles me, as I can't learn new things properly if I am somebody who can't comprehend things. I can't learn new stuff by myself. I need somebody to teach me or else I won't be able to learn. If I am self teaching, I always end up in frustration and preoccupied. I need to be guided. I can't teach myself properly. What can I do?<br><br>Edit: I have dyslexia, and a diagnosis of autism. These may be the reason for my struggles.
