ELI5: Why do people care about Taylor Swift gaining more awards for her art and skill when almost everyone knows she truly is musically talented?

I don’t understand why people get so upset when Taylor Swift or anyone else wins an award. Like is gaining truly gaining respect truly worth that much? I think it is just truly jealous. But I get sometimes people in awards truly don’t deserve it.<br><br>Edit: I am not a fan of Taylor swift. I just don’t get the hate or respect truly.
