I Don’t Enjoy Coffee, And I Don’t Feel The Need To Try It Every Few Years To Re-Evaluate My Opinion Of It.

Most coffe drinkers seem to accept that a lot of people don’t like coffee, but a subset of them seem to think I have to keep trying it every few months or years to make sure I still don’t enjoy it, as if it is a foregone conclusion that I just haven’t tried the correct type or preparation of coffee. I think my opinion of is sufficiently formed, and I’m alright with sometimes saying no without sampling every variation just to make sure my dislike is well thought out. I don’t drink coffee, I don’t like it. Oh well.

EDIT: Since some people seem to have missed this when reading the post - I don’t care if you drink coffee or tea or anything else. This isn’t some anti coffee thing. I would be an asshole if I walked into someone’s house and constantly tried to convince them to stop drinking coffee. I don’t care what people eat or drink. This is entirely about me. Just as I wouldn’t tell you what to eat, I don’t think you need to tell me, especially since I’ve been clear I don’t want to drink it. I also think there is a difference between “It’s just not my cup of tea” and “You just haven’t tried the correct cup of tea. Let me tell you all about tea and how it can be prepared in all these wonderful ways and why you shouldn’t give up on tea!”
I few of you seem to be taking this as some attack on coffee. I don’t care about or have any feelings for or against coffee. This really just a post against some coffeedrinkers I’ve interacted with.
