Democrats should not let Republicans appoint a Supreme Court judge if they win the next election. The GOP has amply demonstrated the political machinery to block any appointments, and they have repeatedly violated any norms around the process. If the GOP wants to appoint a Supreme Court judge Democrats should block their appointments at every turn. <br><br>Edit: Okay, I'm surprised this got so many upvotes. I didn't think this was a very unusual view at all. I'll write replies tomorrow.
