A very difficult question - please feel free to share your opinion

My mom passed away 4 months ago. She was an incredible person and because of her I am an emotionally healthy and mentally balanced person. She was also my mom and my best friend. I have not had a chance to thoroughly reconcile her death because we have been preparing for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah, which took place just last weekend.

This is a kind of very meta question - I am wondering what can I do to honor her memory (maybe in the classroom, perhaps outside of it, maybe even with art or some sort of project). Some very nice person in my department gave me a sunflower to honor my mom. And that gave me the best idea I have so far - to seed-bomb the entire neighborhood. With some luck and care there is a good chance they will bloom from seeds. Good luck, good care and a good chance of blooming are all things my mom used to encourage me to have in life.

Can any of you think of anything else? I want to say something very serious right here - if you responded to this post, I am not just thanking you for your time. I am thanking you for your love and care.
