I don't understand the boy who sits next to me in German.

I have a German class with like 10 other students. It is certainly difficult, and I would be lying if I said that it isn't a challenge.<br><br>But this kid who sits next to me?<br><br>I don't even know what to say.<br><br>Some days he's fine, but he will literally throw his papers up and just storm out of the classroom when the teacher asks him a question he can't answer.<br><br>We have a bunch of exams every week and apparently he's doing really badly on all of them. I guess that's his own problem, but I don't understand why he doesn't seem to care at all about his own education. <br><br>He just doesn't try. He sits next to me and does nothing. He doesn't even bring a pen or pencil to class. <br><br>I just don't get it.<br><br>And the worst part is that the teacher is so patient and kind to him. She tries to reach out to him and help him, and he just makes fun of her and takes advantage of her niceness. <br><br>It's just so rude and I don't understand why he would act like that.<br><br>I have never seen someone treat a teacher so badly and treat their own education so badly.<br><br>I honestly don't know what his deal is.
