Why do men get to stay overweight but women can't?

Men can just get a little plump and stop exercising and no one minds but if a woman does that we're suddenly disgusting to look at and no one wants us, I don't get why men and women are treated differently when it comes to this concept, and when a woman says she's overweight to men they tell us to just get off the couch and exercise and that it's our fault so we're the ones who should fix it but when a woman does lose weight she doesn't deserve to be cared for or be loved for who she is. <br><br>Why is there a double standard?
