App to let people make things ordered from restaurants to be shared with someone in need at the restaurant or a shelter

In my sister’s city there is an Italian restaurant that always has a long line and wait, however they allow you (now only with app) to order dinner or lunch for a homeless person or someone in need at another table (so they get a free meal ordered from menu) or a shelter and pay for it. <br><br>Originally this was a paper box on wall but now it’s an app. They say it’s always full of orders and they are so happy that the people in need get to take advantage of it.<br><br>I think this is a fantastic concept and idea that can (and arguably should) be put into as many restaurants as possible, and if it’s an app you can always access, it could be made more widespread. A lot of shelters aren’t just for homeless people but for victims of domestic violence and hostels for travelers.<br><br>I think this would also encourage people to be more generous with their orders and tips, but that’s just me.
