Does anyone else feel like the world is insane and that anything that doesn't seem like a crime should be legal?

I don't see why people with depression, cancer and other sufferings can't have access to illegal drugs that may help them, I don't see why polygamy isn't legal, I don't see why incest is barred from our culture, I don't see why someone is punished for self defense, and I don't see why someone is punished for defending someone else. I don't see why anything that is not an actual crime is illegal.
