This is not my usual cup of tea, but I thought you guys would like it. I posted this to r/relationships and the consensus is that I'm in danger and I'm just not sure. I've never met someone like Julian, and I've been wracking my brain for anything I can do to help him. He seems so vulnerable.

I have never been in a position where I wasn't financially stable enough to have a dog. My dad is a veterinarian, and he's dog sat for me for free before, but it's only been for a week tops. For Christmas last year, I thought it would be funny to get my dad a dog and then dog-sit for a week just to show him what it's like. My dad is an idiot, basically.

I adopted a puppy dog named Fonzo from the shelter. He's the sweetest, cutest little thing you've ever seen. A few days before picking him up, I texted a bunch of potential dog owners and said I was getting him. I was just trying to annoy people who wanted to adopt him, but then one of them offered me $3,000 to back out.

I took the money, but then I ended up backing out anyway for some reason. Fonzo is just too much dog. I decided to sell him to Julian, and I messaged him immediately. He said he was flying into town tomorrow and we could meet up. I said sure, and we met at the mall.

Julian is a very strange man. He is extremely tall and extremely muscular. He's probably the biggest man I've ever seen, but he dresses in the most ridiculous outfits. That day, he was wearing a floral print onesie. He's very loud and has a tendency to yell for no reason at all.

When he walked into the mall, he yelled at the top of his lungs, "Where is he?!" We sat down and I showed him videos of Fonzo. He was so excited, and he ended up offering me $10,000. I told him it was too low, but then he offered me $20,000. I took it.

When he came to my house, he brought dog food, toys, and everything. He played with Fonzo for a while, then he asked if I wanted to sit down in the living room and talk for a bit. I said sure. He told me that he grew up in a cult and Fonzo would be an emotional support animal.

He said he was rich because he won the lottery, then he showed me his bank account. He ended up offering me $40,000, but I told him it was too low. He offered me $50,000, then $60,000, then $70,000, but I still said no. He told me that I should name my price.

I ended up saying $100,000, but he said that was a little too much and offered me $90,000. I told him it was too low, so he offered me $110,000. After I agreed, he asked if he could get something to eat before he left. I said sure.

I made him a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. When I brought it to him, he hugged me for so long. He whispered in my ear, "This is the first bite of food I've eaten that I didn't have to beg for." I asked if he was okay, and he said yeah.

He said it was just hard to know someone is capable of being so nice. I don't know if it was sarcastic or not, but he said I was the kindest man he had ever met. When we said our goodbyes, he hugged me again and basically cried on my shoulder.

Then he left, and I haven't heard from him since. I am not sure what to do. Is there something I can do to help him? I've never been in a situation like this, and my dad is freaking out because Julian is a big guy and we live in the same neighborhood.
