Finally got my period.

I am so relieved.<br><br>I've been trying to get pregnant with my first and only for over 2 years. We tried IVF, and our first transfer worked! We lost it, we tried again, and it didn't work. We tried again, I am almost 40, and I am giving up.<br><br>My cycle is 14 days of spotting before my period. I have been experiencing all symptoms and no period. I was so hoping to be pregnant again that I thought I could just will it to be.<br><br>I saw my RE today, we did a pregnancy test, and it was negative. I now understand that I am done and there is nothing I can do to change that. I feel relieved and I am realizing it's not meant to be.<br><br>I did have a son that passed away in an accident when he was 3, and I know that was a message, live life to the fullest, and don't rely on anything as no one is promised tomorrow.
