What is up with minimalists dooming the world

Hi, a friendly non-minimalist here. Man, i love minimalism and have a lot in common with it, i don't like buying stuff and i bought like 5 things this year, i have never wasted time buying useless things and i love the "less is more" concept, but what man... i did not expect the huge amount of "we are fucked, world is going to end in 10 years" and "capitalism is destroying the world, we should just go back to the woods and live like the neandertal man" i see here. I don't wanna live in the fucking forest, i like society and culture and technology, i think only idiots destroy the world, not capitalism, i love progress and don't wanna live in the fucking woods eating berries.<br><br>Sorry man, but there is work to be done to make capitalism better, not to go back to the fucking caves.<br><br>edit: some people are saying i should not talk about this topic if i am not a minimalist. Well, i have 100 items at home, i don't buy anything except food, and i have recycled 90% of my disposable items bought this year, what else do you want me to do? Not a minimalist? I am minimalist, dumbasses.<br><br>edit2: i want to add that there is a lot of good comments and a lot of dumb comments. i am glad to know that trolels doesn't represent the whole minimalist community, and i have made friends here. trolels are not going to make me hate minimalism or minimalists.
