How do I address attendance without shaming/humiliating attendance issues?

Ok, so I teach early childhood and I'm really struggling to figure out how to discuss attendance in a way that isn't shaming/humiliating to the students that are chronically absent. We have one student that has attendance issues almost daily and I'm honestly at a loss because I don't want to humiliate the student but I also want to address the issues of attendance. I have tried to address the absences in a Low-key way.

Any suggestions?
