Sexism and the lack of people admitting it exists.

I don't agree or disagree with the people who believe that having children should be a choice. But when people say that women have the right to choose and should get an abortion, but a man doesn't have a choice when it comes to paying child support, that's sexism.

I'm so tired of hearing "A woman's body, a woman's right". A woman can choose to have an abortion, a man is *forced* to pay child support when he doesn't want to be a father. A woman can choose to have an abortion, a man is *forced* to pay for a child he will never meet, he will never know. A woman can choose to have an abortion, a man has no say when it comes to a woman deciding to keep a child she doesn't want, and is *forced* to pay.

Both woman and men have a choice when it comes to having sex. Do you want to risk being a parent? If not, use protection. If it fails and a woman gets pregnant, it is her choice to keep the child or not. A man has no say. But once the child is born, it is now his choice to pay child support or not? He has no say when it comes to the pregnancy, he has no say when it comes to the abortion, he has no say when it comes to the child. But now he has to pay for it? This is sexism and this is wrong.

If a woman chooses to have a child and the father doesn't want to be a part of the child's life, that is her choice and she has to live with it. If a man chooses to have a child and the mother doesn't want to be a part of the child's life, it is his choice and he has to live with it. It should be that simple. But when a woman chooses to have a child and the father doesn't want to be a part of the child's life, he is *forced* to pay child support. And if the father chooses to have a child and the mother doesn't want to be a part of the child's life, she isn't *forced* to pay child support. This is sexism and this is wrong.

And another thing, when people say "A woman's body, a woman's right" is an admission that a man has no say in a woman's pregnancy. Because he doesn't have a say, because it is her body. But then she makes the choice to have a child, and a man is *forced* to pay? This is sexism and this is wrong.

This is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to sexism and the lack of people admitting it exists.
