I was literally pulled out of class recently and asked if I was okay because I didn’t show up to class with my glasses. Luckily they just asked if I needed to call home but still that’s the most embarrassing thing ever. How do I get used to glasses?

I got glasses for the first time in 4th grade and ever since I have always hated wearing them. They were always a nuance, always hurting my face, falling off, or fogging. Then I went to contacts in 6th grade which was a huge relief. I only had to deal with contacts 2 days a week since my mom would only pack them in my case on certain days and I would always forget my glasses. What started to happen was that I would forget my contacts/ the solution at home so I had to go without them. Luckily my vision isn’t that bad so it didn’t bother me to not have them. My mom is also on my case about wearing my glasses everyday but I refuse as I don’t get used to them. Any advice?
