Custom shoes

I have trouble with shoes. Most shoes hurt my feet. I bought some Dr. Scholls that were custom fit to my foot. I did that twice those lasted longer than my other shoes. The issue is that they are no longer custom fit to my foot. They fit fine when I first bought them and now they don't. I have tried some cheap custom fit shoes and the same thing has happened. I'm not comfortable wearing shoes that don't conform to my foot. Does anyone know how I can get my shoes to be comfortable?
