My(25M) girlfriend (24F) of 18 months asked me to delete all my social media because I posted a selfie with a girl in the background.

I'm not sure what to do. I have had this girlfriend for 18 months now and we've been living together for three months. I posted a selfie that I took at the mall on my stories and there is a girl walking by in the background. She saw the post and immediately asked me to delete it because in her opinion it made us look bad. I asked her what she meant and she said it looked like I was flirting with her. I asked if she was being serious and she said yes. <br><br>I thought it was ridiculous and said no. I take a lot of selfies because I use it to fuel and sell my online persona for my twitch stream. <br><br>She then said that if I didn't delete it she would because it made her look bad. <br><br>Now I'm not one to tolerate someone threatening me, but I do love her and I'm not trying to break up. I just want her to see how ridiculous this is. How can I approach this in a way that isn't like "fuck off or we're done"? What even is the cause of this? Could it be a medical thing?<br><br>She does have body dismorphia but that has mainly been about us. She accuses me of flirting with anyone but men and then tries to convince herself that I'm cheating. I've had to be very transparent with her and show her all my communications with people (including this post) to make her feel comfortable. <br><br>She also has said things like "you're so much more attractive than me, I could never compete with you". Even though every time she's gone out she's been flirted with. I've told her she's much more attractive than me but she won't listen.<br><br>EDIT:<br>I've shown her this post and told her that I will not be deleting the post. She became upset and has gone to her friend's house. I told her when she's ready to talk and not be so emotional that we can have this conversation. <br><br>She said it was "wrong" to post this here and that it wouldn't help our relationship at all. She called me immature for doing this. <br><br>I told her we would talk tomorrow and I hoped we could have a more mature conversation.<br><br>Will update when more happens.
