I only wish there was an equally convenient way to opt out of supporting other people’s kids as there is to avoid having my own.

My student loan payments are due next month and I have to pay a large fee for the privilege of paying the state forever. My sister only graduated college a couple of years ago, but she only owes $5k compared to the $50k I owe. Yes she got scholarships, but not that many. Her kids are organic and she’s not stupid, she knows what she’s doing. <br><br>I don’t blame her, and I guess it’s worth it in the end. I’m just bitter that I don’t have the option for that same opportunity as her.
