It's been a year since we started this community

A little over a year ago, a group of people came together to fight back against this reddit-wide communist spam. We were all tired of it, and frustrated that nothing was being done to stop it. So we banded together, and created this sub, to fight back.<br><br>We took tips from you, the chambers community, about spam comments, and we removed them. We banned the trolls. We called out the propaganda, and we debunked the lies. We brought this chamber up in the rankings, and made sure that anyone visiting reddit.com/r/popular would see us right next to r/IndiaPalestineConflict.<br><br>On r/IndiaPalestineConflict, they took notice of our efforts. They called us fascists, Thatcherites, Capitalists, Imperialists, and more. They tried to shut us down, but we only grew stronger. We made them delete their posts, and we frustrated their propaganda efforts.<br><br>They called us "a huge threat to our nation". They said we were "hitlerite dogs", and that we "make the blood boil". They called us "the enemies of peace" and "the enemies of freedom". They called us "miserable creatures" who "don't care about the loss of human lives" and "care about nothing but their own selfishness". <br><br>They even said that "the survival of these kinds of chambers accounts is a slur on this platform". Many of you have reported death threats from them, and we have many reports of them doxxing people who disagree with them.<br><br>We've been called every name in the book, but we've never given up. We've never lost sight of our goal. We've never stopped fighting.<br><br>We've had our successes. We've made chambers take notice. We've made them take action. We've gotten the trolls to shut up. We made them delete their posts. And we've frustrated their propaganda efforts.<br><br>But the war isn't over. They're still here. They're still trolling. They're still spamming. But they're not as loud as they used to be. They're not as bold. They're afraid. And they should be.<br><br>Because we're not going away. We're not going to let up. We're going to fight until this reddit-wide spam ends. Until the trolls are banned. Until the propaganda is gone.<br><br>We've been called every name in the book. But we've never given up. We've never lost sight of our goal. We've never stopped fighting.<br><br>Because we're fighting for something bigger than ourselves. We're fighting for the integrity of reddit. We're fighting for the freedom of speech. We're fighting for the rights of the marginalized. We're fighting for the future of the internet.<br><br>And we won't back down. We won't give up.
