Why do childfree people have to defend being childfree but parents don't have to defend being parents?

Why is that being childfree is a big deal and you have to defend yourself why you are childfree, yet nobody asks parents why they had kids? (Only if they are single teen parents for example.. or if they have many kids)<br><br>I want to hear your thoughts on this.<br><br>&#x200B;<br><br>Edit: I am childfree myself.
