I'm finally a mom. I've been with my husband for over 10 years and we tried for years and years. We almost gave up, but our patience paid off last year and I became pregnant with our first child.

In August we welcomed a beautiful baby boy who has stolen both our hearts.

Now the best part.

We decided to move last December, and our new home is perfect. It's big enough for the three of us, it's beautiful, it's in a great location, the whole nine yards.

When I went into labor, my husband helped me to the car so we could take me to the hospital. When we got there, I was 9 cm dilated and they quickly took me to the delivery room.

I thought I was about to push, but nope. I was exhausted and my baby wasn't coming out, so I had to take a nap next to the delivery bed. I was snoring so loudly the doctor couldn't help but laugh. My husband was super proud of me :D

My baby was born at 6:04 am and I was super happy.

My husband spent the night with me on the hospital bed, and the next morning my mom and dad came to visit. I asked my husband to get them some coffee, but he told me the cafeteria was on the other side of the hospital.

I told him it was no problem, since we were in a nearby room, he could just run down the hallway and get some coffee from the machine right across from our room. He went and got the coffee, and while he was getting it he told me he saw someone being pushed out from the room next door in a wheelchair, and that person was... my neighbor from next door.

She was being pushed out of the maternity room by her husband. My husband told me they were both smiling and laughing so no need to worry. I was surprised, but also thrilled that my neighbor had just become a mother too. We talked to the husband, wished them the best and then he continued with the wheelchair.

My husband got the coffee and came back, and I told him to go to the room next door and tell her the good news. I was shocked when he came back saying they weren't there.

I asked him where they were, and he told me... they went home.

I couldn't believe it, but the nurse told us that she gave birth to the baby next door about 3 hours before my baby.
