Does it make me a terrible person that I always feel annoyed when my co-workers have to call in because their kid is sick? Like they’re usually under the weather as well so they are going to infect me either way. I just get annoyed because I don’t have a choice.

Just feel like it’s bullshit. They can stay home if their kid is sick. I can’t if mine is. Not saying I want a kid, but it’s just unfair that parents get to take time off for a sick kid but us non-parents can’t when we’re sick.<br><br>Edit: It seems like some people are confused. Parents can stay home when their kid is sick. But since I’m childfree I have no reason to miss work and will be forced out if I’m sick.
