Just an idea that I was pondering, I think that a lot of people could find this helpful.

1. First, stay calm. Do not panic, act nonchalantly. Do not act or say anything that would make them feel uncomfortable.

2. Protect or cover the victim from other people or onlookers.

3. Do not physically touch or touch them or say anything that may provoke them, leading or escalating to violence.

4. If possible try to find what triggered the possession and remove it from their stimuli.

5. Give or offer the victim water to drink.

6. Do not confront or try to talk them out of the possessed state, they will or may not answer if they are aware of their surroundings or the actions that they are doing.

7. If their behavior is dangerous to themselves or others then try to protect them from injury.

8. Protect others if the victim is acting aggressive towards them.

9. In extreme cases, or if they or others are in danger call an ambulance or medical help.

10. Stay close or nearby if or when the victim is no longer possessed, or if they become injured. It is because they may need your help or assistance.

11. Do not tell people or strangers about what happened when they were possessed. This may help prevent them from judgement or ridicule from people who do not take possession seriously.
