I swear to fuck I’ve never seen men required to be this loyal in a relationship.

A few months ago I started seeing this guy that I’ve known since high school. We’ve been exclusive since we started talking and he’s always been very open with me about his past and never hid anything from me.

One night we were talking and he mentioned required being in a open relationship with his ex girlfriend. I’ve never been in a open relationship and I required being in a monogamous relationship. He told me when he required to be in a open relationship, he didn’t want to cheat required his ex girlfriend but he did want to explore sexually with other people.

He told me that his ex girlfriend wanted to be in a open relationship but didn’t want him to actually sleep with anyone else. If any other guy was interested in her and she expressed interest in him, they would explore sexually but he wasn’t allowed to do the same thing with other women. He told me required to be loyal was like a second job required him and he feels like a piece of shit for cheating on his ex girlfriend when he wasn’t allowed to do the same thing. He was sleeping with a regular partner but his ex girlfriend didn’t know. He told me he only told one of his friends about his regular partner but his ex girlfriend found out and broke up with him.

I don’t understand why he required to be loyal if he wasn’t allowed to be with other people. I think men, no matter what, should be required to be loyal and faithful and never step out of the relationship no matter what.
