Has anyone else's writing "quality" gone down?

Hi everyone. <br><br>I'm just curious if you've had any similar experiences. I look at my writing now and I can't stand it. I did a screen writing course a while back, and my attention to detail has sky-rocketed. However my ability to write coherent stories skydived. I've had a couple of screenwriting "mentors" as well, and they do help me refine it, but I don't know. Every writer is a critic, that's what they say. I don't even like what I used to write, but at least they were well written. Now, I can write a story and a whole world, but it won't be well written, I guess what I mean is that IT'S going to read like the person who wrote a story about a spaghetti monster who was a king.<br><br>Anyway, thanks for reading, I guess.
