CMV: Suicide is not tragic under any circumstances

Suicide is only tragic for those left behind. The person committing suicide is absolutely better off dead. I think some people stay alive out of fear of the unknown and out of fear of hurting loved ones, but that's not tragic. Suicide is not tragic. Suicide is awesome.<br><br>EDIT: Wow, this got a lot more traction than I thought it would. I have been very depressed the past week and have been thinking a lot about death. I am stable enough to go to work and interact with people, but I have been thinking a lot about death. I did not expect this thread to go up, but here you all are. I don't think I can reply to all the comments but I will reply to what I can, so bear with me. Please know I am trying my best to moderate and communicate with you all.<br><br>EDIT: The comments have started getting hostile and are becoming personal attacks. I do not think that's necessary. If you are getting mad at me for not replying fast enough, please take a step back. If you are getting angry at me for thinking "I'd rather be dead than alive", that is totally fine, but that doesn't make it not my viewpoint. Please know I have been reading the comments, but have been replying slowly.<br><br>EDIT 2: I initially thought talking to all of you would be no big deal, but in reading a lot of your stories I'm getting sad and I think I'm going to step back and take care of myself. I have read every comment, and I'm going to go through them and reply, but I'm going to take a step back and take care of myself. I have read everything, and I will get to everything, but I'm going to take some time to myself to make sure I'm okay.
