A starving old man arrived at the doorstep of the first house and he was promptly fed sweet custard by the mother of three of the Hansel & Gretel tale, the blood of which her daughters use to rebuild the house to its former state.

The candy cane forest started to lose its magic after Hansel and Gretel had set the witch in the oven.<br><br>Many starving children would have started to arrive at the doorstep of the house and they were not fed.<br><br>But then came a poor old man, he was different to the starving children that came before.<br><br>He was fed custard and after he had been fed it, he died instantly.<br><br>The mother of three would then take his blood and use it to rebuild and restore the house to its former state.<br><br>She did this to each starving old man that came thereafter, her daughters would then be fed too.
