A small coporation has solved a major hiring problem given the labor shortage. They created the hardest hiring process imaginable. Every seargant was a former drill instructor in the military.

Applicants are forced to be put through a physical challenge first. They have to run for 30 minutes nonstop. They are then partaken in bootcamp-esque training where they are put into obstacle courses and other exercises. The worst part is that there is no other choice. You must do this or you can't work for this company.

The applicants are whittled down to 4. They are given a test then a final interview. The 3 are cut and one is left. They are only given a 3-month trial period before being put to a selection committee to be let go or not.

The company has a massive turnover but they don't care. People are still lining up for jobs and are desperate to work. The part that is the worst is that once the 3-month trial period is over, they don't even review the files of the employee. They just let them go without a second thought.

Lots of other companies are starting to copy this hiring process. In fact it is becoming a norm.
