How to cope with a writer's block

I have writer’s block and I’m trying to find ways to get over it. I’ve been working on three different stories and while I did have three different ideas I am now struggling. <br><br>I’ve always found it difficult to come up with ideas, it takes me much longer than others. I have to do a lot of research before I can even think about writing and once I write it doesn’t go very well.<br><br>I struggle to sit down and write. Even when I make a start I only get a couple of chapters in. I tend to go back and “edit” what I’ve written. Which then makes me struggle to think of what’s next.<br><br>Do you have a way around this? Do you struggle as well?<br><br>Many thanks <br><br>P.S. I’ve had “one day I will” go on for nearly ten years now, I’m determined to finish my novels.
